But it only writes data when the program exits.

Otherwise, the file is created but I don't see any logs.

Do you have any idea how to make the logging write to the file?"

I am debugging in QEMU and outputting the serial output to a file.

qemu-system-x86_64 -serial file:output.txt -hda
