when trying to install chompjs via the Crawlab (dependencies) web interface, I get an error:

note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip.

I think I need GCC, which is missing in the image... what should be done in this case?

I think you should install dependencies through this command apt-get install -y build-essential before installing chompjs. Will add to common image later.

Yes, I did - it works...
but then there was a problem with the psycopg2 library: psycopg2-binary is installed in the pip (for linux) when using psycopg2 in the import project (import psycopg2), I get error - that psycopg2 is not installed...

Have you installed the library in the container? Please note it only works in the container. In the meantime, you can screenshot your dependency list here to see if the library is correctly installed or not.
