Problem with changing value of fields in matrix block, if only element is a revision:

I am trying to change value of a image field in matrix block, related to a revision:
but it seems after setting matrix field value, Craft forces block ID and change it to 'new1'
if i apply same code for current version of entry, Craft keeps existing block ID.
i really can't understand the reason why this is happening only for revision of entries

Thanks for reporting that. This was due to a bug in how Matrix fields determine the already-existing blocks for an element. As of Craft 4, revisions’ Matrix blocks are now also revision elements (see #13064), but the Matrix block query used to fetch the existing blocks while processing new block data wasn’t fetching revisions.

Fixed now for the next release via dc92b93.
