FilenameList is an application for renaming all files in a directory based on new filenames stored in a text file with one new filename per line.
This application is in early development state and therefore features are missing and problems do exist. This application is completely unsupported - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

FilenameList is completely free of charge and licensed under the Open Source "MIT License".
1.) Place the FilenameList folder anywhere on your hard disk (the "/Applications" folder is most suitable). 2.) Double click FilenameList 3.) Drop a directory with files to rename and a text file containing new filenames onto the according areas in the main window. Hit rename once you are satisfied with the preview.
