Solution to issue cannot be found in the documentation.
I checked the documentation.
Issue
When installing vtk via conda-forge, importlib.metadata does not report any installed files for vtk because vtk does not provide a full package metadata:
This is a problem for package managers like pixi who use this information as uninstall info.
Error:
× default: error installing/updating PyPI dependencies
╰─▶ Unable to uninstall `vtk==9.2.6`. distutils-installed distributions do not include the metadata required to uninstall safely.
The same problem also applies to vtk-9.3.0. I didn't check vtk-base tho.
