Google has removed the ability to access its calendars via RSS (https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/6285065?p=xml_deprecation&rd=1), and iCal support appears to be spotty at best. Given that we've been constrained to make users to go through the API key application process (which I still don't fully grasp) for Youtube, should we introduce Google Calendar API support here?

Re: API key application process - It took me a little bit of testing before it clicked that the API key needed for the Google Calendar API is the same API key needed for the Youtube API. I hadn't yet looked into how to check for this configuration setting. I believe it makes more sense to direct a user to enter this key in Concerto settings instead of storing it as a plugin setting. Thoughts?
