There is no feedback on actions

There is no feedback to the user that states if an action was successful or not.
There can be a js error that results in an action failing, and without looking at the js console, there's no way of knowing about it.
There's no feedback on a successful action, which results in a need to refresh the page in order to make sure that the data was saved.
