Maybe can to be important info that:

The last commit is generally visible as the release date for the dev-master version, the rest I agree might be useful.

We now have some more github info showed (stars, watchers, open issues, language, forks) as those are given in the basic repository API call. Not sure if what else we can get easy access to that would make sense.

@Seldaek is there a specific reason why the github info is not exposed via the api call (packages/{name}.json)?
