I've tried two different laptops, one Win 7, one Win 10. I thought it was as simple as installing the program and going.
The CL1000 pops up fine as an external drive when USB connected to laptop and I can view the CFG file, however when I plug in the OBD/DB9 first, and then into the laptop I can never create a connection. All the videos I see you select CSScan and the port is automatically filled in and then away you go.
On mine, the port is blank and I cannot get the software to see the device no matter what I try. Am I missing something simple?
