Using a plugin is the only real option that doesn't suck for this: https://github.com/pattex/jekyll-tagging

However there is a problems in that Github pages doesn't support plugins. This leaves us with a couple options:

Both options would require building the site locally, which isn't super fun.

Local compiles are not fun. I'll keep the issue open - but forget about it
probably. This makes me thing though, what else can we server side compile?
Coffescript would be really nice. Sass? Haml?
