PopToRootAsync on modalpages limitation? #11

I have an app where I pushed some modal pages, then I tried to ise PopToRootAsync but nothing happens. Is there a limitation when using modal pages? I might change it to non modal pages and the hide/disable the back navigation on those pages. So I want to know if there is a limitation for modal pages
