allow_coverage_offsets setting deprecation & alternative

Hi team. I believe in cases where the base SHA is not recent enough in order to compare with a new SHA, and avoid the 'Missing Base Commit' error, the allow_coverage_offsets: true setting could be set in codecov.yml, as described in this older version of the documentation.

Could you please verify in what version was this setting deprecated and not take any effect?
Also, what is the alternative?
