Developing a local community

In order to

• have in person meetings eventually
• reach students who haven't been reached yet

Challenges

• waiting list maybe discouraging?
• students who know Codebar signing up early on an cancelling in the days leading up to the session
• advertising locally
• equally don't want to discourage students who aren't able to come to in person sessions or who don't have a chapter near them

Flyers in local:

• coffee shops
• libraries
• co working spaces

Codebar has a vista print template. Paris to translate into French this weekend

Posting in local Facebook groups. Careful not to spam, best to have connected with it before to get the vibe and if it's the best space.

Re student numbers: can move people from the waiting list and expect that students will drop out (coaches tend not to)

• Engage with local companies who could help
