This week we further solidified our research question, and determined how we would divide the mark up. Rachel and I will be marking up the imagery and metadata portion of the poems, and Caroline will take on the elision and elipses portion of the mark up. We also determined that we would like to have all of our poems selected by tomorrow, so that Rachel and I could get our portion of the mark up done by Wednesday/Thursday, and then Caroline could finish out until the mid term. We did this because she is still waiting to hear back from her Linguistics Advisor about how she should go about her portion of the mark up.

I like how your group has a scheduled plan for when you want to have the markups completed. I would recommend developing a schema so that those who are marking up can coordinate on consistent elements. Depending on how much you have to markup it may take a bit more time but I believe you guys have got this :). I am kind of curious as to what elision and eclipse mark ups are. Overall I think you guys are doing a great job and wish the best for your project.
I like your plan for the upcoming week, I think consulting a Linguistics Advisor is a good idea to help plan your markup. I agree that creating a schema may be a good step to consider doing next, each person can probably set up the portion for their individual markup. I also like your idea to divide the markup elements, so each will be pretty consistent throughout each project text.
