Consolidate Shared GDrives #551
Comments
Yes, I agree the owner of the folder should be the group account. |
Per our Slack messages, let me know if you want me to try to move all folders over. |
@jberkus I have shared my folder with you, I believe as soon as you except the share I can transfer ownership for it. |
We've been able to verify that we can move things. Next steps:

I'm just adding myself in here so I know where to put notes. |
Closing this as DONE! |
For some unexplained reason, TAG-CS has two shared Gdrive folders, both of them created this summer.
There's this one, which belongs to [email protected]: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pXSz0EPj393r66sk6S91xgYsB967L498
And this one, which is the one being actively used by Catherine, DHOH and Higher Ed: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Cvys8amSfFAhx6xwVWOqbnYQmP12tKRU
Unfortunately, while the second drive is the more actively used one, it's owned by Taylor Waggoner and not by any CNCF group account, which means that if Taylor ever left the CNCF the folder might vanish. This means that we need to consolidate all of the material from the second folder into the first one.
As much as possible we'll try to move documents so that we don't break links, but GDrive may not allow us to do that as much as we want.
