CMDI to mods

Greetings,

Do you know of any tools for going from CMDI to MODS? I'm looking to create importable files to citation managers, from CMDI files, and going through MODS would be one way of approaching this. I don't clearly see that this toolkit does that. But maybe I am missing something.

CMDI allows very diverse metadata profiles, so it will be hard to create a generic one. But it might be doable for a limited number of profiles.

This repository contains the core toolkit of CMDI, i.e., XSD schema's, scripts to upgrade to the latest version. Conversions to/from other metadata formats can be found here: https://github.com/clarin-eric/metadata-conversion This includes a MODS to CMDI conversion by the Utrecht University ... you could create the inverse ... but it would just cover that specific profile ....
