What You Are Seeing?

Testing the field expansion for Friendly Name in Chocolatey Central Management, I noticed that once you have set a friendly name for a computer, if you try to save that as an empty field, CCM states that the field is required.

What is Expected?

This field can be empty when the computer registers with CCM. It's only after it has been changed and then tried to be changed back to an empty field that the error above is received.

How Did You Get This To Happen? (Steps to Reproduce)

  1. Log in to CCM and in the Computers tab, select Actions on a computer, then select Edit.
  2. Add a Friendly Name to the computer (if there isn't one already) and Save.
  3. Once the Friendly Name has been saved, select Actions on the computer and select Edit.
  4. Delete the Friendly Name from the field and select Save.

## Workarounds
None known.

## Proposed Solution
Without knowing exactly how this works, I have none. It's strange (to me) that the field is only considered required once it has input, but this may have logic that I don't know about, so this could be intended functionality.

## Related Issues and Tickets
None.
