I recently tried Anthologize and found that the Export PDF fields are not sticky, ie: reverts back to the Default values.

Anthologize Bug (Non-sticky options)

  1. Open Project and Click Export Project
  2. Dedication and Acknowledgements boxes are blank.
  3. Entered some text for Dedication: "This edition is dedicated to chasing a bug in Anthologize :-)"
  4. Entered some text for Acknowledgements: Acknowledgements
  5. Set "Export Format" as PDF and press Next
  6. Set the following selections:-

Page Size: A4 (Defaults to Letter)
    Base Font Fize(sic??): 13pt (Defaults to 12pt)
Font face: Helvetica (Defaults to Times New Roman)
Check (aka tick) all check boxes for Page breaks and Include "Anthologize Colophon page?"
  7. Finally click on Export. The PDF is exported successfully with the options requested
  8. Going back to the Page, shows that the fields filled in above is blank.

Version in use:
Wordpress 3.6
Anthologize: 0.7.1 (same behaviour as 0.7)

Thanks very much for the report.

Are we certain that this is a bug? Each export is, technically,
completely independent. We don't want to force people to have the same
settings each time they export.

However, I do think it would be a nice enhancement to remember the
user's last settings (perhaps on a project-specific basis), and then to
pre-fill those options during the export process. Maybe for the next
release.

Good questions. Initially I considered this to be a bug but if you have multiple projects, "feature request" might be more appropriate.

Yes, those settings should be saved on a project-by-project basis. I think it's reasonable to keep the settings of the previous export when exporting again as you may just want to edit a small section of the "anthology".

Happy for it to be left for a future version.
