- 2 8-inch or 1 16-inch European cucumbers
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
Cut cucumbers in paper-thin slices, making about 4 cups of slices. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; stir until sugar dissolves. Stir in cucumbers. Refrigerate 4-6 hours. Drain. Serve marinated cucumbers in pretty glass bowl. (Serves 6-8).
