Currently:

http://opendata.cern.ch/docs/cms-guide-for-condition-database instructs adding symbolic links only for the VM images.

They are also needed when using the containers, at least for the Run-1 condition data.

Test and update accordingly.

This is when the cvmfs area is mounted and shared into the container. Closing as a mention added for it in #3398
