Reset button

Hello, I need to change some parameters in the DCM of a Megane 3. Should i only give the SEND command or Reset command is also required to make changes permanent ? (i cannot understand the instructions in the white box 🙂 ) . i am puzzled because last week i set the Config Puddle lamp to 1 (activated) and just pressed SEND ... for some reason, the Puddle lamp was activated as expected and as it should but all other parameters in thiis DCM page were automatically set to 0 (deactivated) . Now i want to rectify this and i cannot understand what went wrong in the first place (if reset was needed, then why Puddle Lamp was activated without it ? )
