Having exactly the same issue (HFE Kadjar)

Since issue is closed, I had to open another one..

But I believe I can fix this with ddt4all since I had a bricked main screen & fixed it also opening hidden features. Could not resolve the bluetooth audio problem. While fixing main I screen, I tried to reset config settings of Audio ECU. I entered back almost all values from another kadjar ( same year, 2018).

I searched for any bluetooth related settings but couldn't find any.

Media streaming is working fine but audio is not working. I cannot hear calls also seems like my microphone is not working so other party cannot hear me ( completely silent on IOS pairings, and robotic voice on Android pairing)

Any ideas? Or settings to look for?

Downloaded the script and will execute commenting out all except phone acoustic. I did not get what SPVR and whole car acoustic is standing for. If phone acoustic is not enough then I'll execute those also.

But the rest is already working I guess/hope. :)

I suppose that SPVR is something related to Voice Recognition.
Car acoustic it is fine tuning for all channels of acoustic system in accordance to your car body geometry and materials (gain, equalisation, reverberation and so on)

Hi, I have this provblem After R-Link2 replacement that I have configured.
Now only this problem with bluetooth Is remained suspended. I can reproduce media with bluetooth but I have no call audio.
With pyren as mentioned above I do not solve because pyren not work. The app Will close when I push Macro Button. Let me know please

@Lauddt94 I don't know how you can convince them to apply that ACTIS while you change yourself the unit.
Usual they don't answer for any upgrade at old cars. Their interest is to sell.

It's interesting what is inside these actis. Does the problem related to the firmware of amplifier?

Update: on the 24th of may the car goes to the dealer. They told me they saw this before and is a result of only changing the screen and not the Rlink module. Now there is an error between the Rlink, screen ans Bose system. They have an update for this but it is not without any risk and no success guaranteed. I let you know what the outcome will be.

Discrepancy between R-Link and Bose system it is very possible, but with display it is "dust in eye". The display is passive device and nothing to do with system sound as I know.

Hi i have some issues with my bluetooth, i've change my rlink v2 from a megane IV 2017 business to à Rlink with v9 with the big screen who support carplay but i have some calling issues..
First, i have no sound and microphone when i'm calling someone, i did all acoustic macro with pyren, now i have sound but no microphone.

I've check with DDT4all all the SPVR, phone acoustic, acoustic parameters and "NO DATA" a friend gave me a cmd to solve this but it says " incorrect length or invalide message ".

Can you help me please ?

@hako9104 The procedure depends on which version of LGU was originally installed on the device. If v7 and you installed v8/v9 yourself, then you need to return v7 first.

thanks for great work @shrlnm , would like consult with you as real Renault guru, have Renault Espace 2020 year with R-link 2, there is sw 8.x.x by factory, have issue that when call somone, i hear well other side, but sound to other side is very low by me, except if try talk so loud and noisy :) .

Think here is issue same like for other guys posted here with BT issue + BOSE and sw versions. I'm not sure when you say about LGU type is v3 v7 v8 v9, is this related to SW version i see at GUI on display, or it's related what i see at DDT4ALL like Radnav 3.3 etc?

So should i try macro script v8 or this v3-v7 ?

Hello @shrlnm , thank you for all help and support, without all your points here and at D2 will not be possible easy fix it :) . Yes, realized about Pyren3, and Pyren3 was running, but no screen like your at D2.

Believe me or not DDT db was added in root folder, and one which posted by DDT author used, but stil didn't want show me DDT mode and had much issues about usb-serial drivers for Pyren3, however, once find more free time, will try again setup pyre3+ddt mode.

Tnx for tip about VIN, will delete CMD text, didn't know its posted in hex :) .

Would like ask your for opinion, could be running thsis acoustics MACRO script related anyway to USB ports, cause suddenly both usb ports stoped work at my r-link2, when i try ubs stick used ago with music, sure FAT32 formatted, was usb stick 8-16gb, now not recognized with mp3 files, when connected them, rlink2 report usb stick device connected, but say NOT recognized format, not readable or something like that, not remember exactly about message... What you suggest to try get back working USB ports, or maybe they are somehow burned and need replacement of 2x usb ports panel?

I'm pretty sure these acoustic parameters are not related to USB-ports. Do you have android-auto running on these USB ports?

I believe what you say, as you are person who knows well renault matter and rlink2 :) , but just was time after solved BT issue by acoustic macro script that USB-ports both stoped to recognize mp3 files from USB sticks, same usb sticks ago were recognized and mp3 files from same usb sticks, i tested same usb stick in my 2nd car, and there work all ok.

Good idea, i tried right now Android Auto from both usb1 usb2 ports and work Android Auto on both usb ports, its fron usb panel with 2x usb ports+1x aux.

If you have any idea what to try for these fron usb ports to get back working usb stick with mp3 files, please post and i'll try :) . By googling found most of guys fixed similar issues by soft-resetting headunit holding power button few seconds until unit reboot, will try it too.

Hello, I'm also having problems with the sound on BT calls. no one hears me, nor do I hear others.
This happened after updating from v3 to v9 through an authorized service.

I tried to run the macro for v8 on version V9.0.34.611, but I get the error "incorrect message length or invalid format"
What could be the problem?

Try as many other did, downgrade to v7, then run lgu v3-v7 macro script, and if issue solved on v7, then upgrade to v8, then v9. Read thread, and 1 more , it's full of useful informations, but no one can guarantee it will 100% solve, it's simple try and see what will happen, otherwise visit Renault dealership, to help you by Actis.

When ask help, provide more details, to make easier other people better understand your issue , like car model+year + is there BOSE amp or not, etc.

But if Renault authorized services updated SW for you, they have access Actis suppose, and they should fix it, buy updating config and solving sound issues, as there is big diff v3 vs v9 in sw, and that's why happens these sound issues, specially if BOSE in config, and then need solve some kind "parametrization" for hu+amp, by Actis or in this case by Pyren macro scripts, it's way i understood it.

I have Talisman 2017, not bose.

I wanted to avoid the downgrade, because I don't know if I can then go back up and what will happen to the maps

V8 = v8+v9 lgu units can be used. So, you can try v8 in your car, otherwise visit again Reanult dealer and act solve it by Actis, parametrization for headunit usual fix it.

There at Renault dealers are not anymore ACTIS procedures.
They changed the platform and not cares anymore about old units.

I have the same problem, my rlink was changed by renault with a native v9 and beside the issue with the bt audio, also sometimes the audio decrease by itself when I enter the 1st gear and remains low till the parking sensor recognise an object in front. After running the script with phyton, the audio works but the issue is related to echo. What can I do?
