please add the program to the website https://f-droid.org
you only need to configure the automatic taking of your program from the github. the site F-Droid itself will take new versions and compile them itself.

@cbeuw Do you have any objections if somebody else does this with proper attribution to this repo?

the project is open, do whatever you want, just specify the license and a link to the source. I say do it, there is no problem

I opened an MR https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/-/merge_requests/15331

Apologies I was under the impression that anyone could package a freely licensed software on F-Droid (as with Linux distro packages), turns out my consent is required. I might as well package it then.

The license allows anyone to package the app for F-Droid but sometimes the author doesn't want F-Droid to distribute their app. We don't want to make upstream devs unhappy. :)

Excellent, thanks @cbeuw ! I know the process requires some effort, but this will literally put Cloak in the hands of people who need it most.
