Research Task

  • Question or Goal: overarching goal of this issue
    Per the Summer Refactor Epic - Summer Refactor (starts after TTTF4 mid-June) #1122, Refactor the initial work done on the Bus Procurement Cost Issue so the directory is cleaned and organized.

    • Tasks (TBD):
      • create a new utils script to consolidate all the functions used for each data source (TIRCP, DGS, FTA)
      • reorganize all the variables in the final notebook
      • remove excess draft files from GCS (ex. test output files)
      • remove old, draft notebooks

  • Metrics: what specific calculations are you looking to find?

  • Expected Outputs / Findings: what do you hope to have created when this is complete?
    A data-analyses/bus_procurement_cost folder with only the necessary scripts and notebook for the Bus Cost analysis. Also, a GCS data-analyses/bus_procurement_cost folder of only the raw, cleaned and final data.

Refactored bus cost analysis was delivered to Slack for review and comments.
