Using options

Hey there, how do I use the plugin options? This is rarely documented. In particular I'd hope for a way to do IoC (I'd like to insert my current express instance via options to a plugin from my main.js).
Is this somehow possible? Heads up for the library, though you should really update the stuff from core 👍
