Buildarr Installer is currently not digitally signed, so the first time users open the installer, they get a warning from Microsoft Defender SmartScreen.
I'd like to be able to automatically code sign the installer, but it is not only difficult for individuals, it is expensive (the cheapest I've seen from a reputable CA being $199 per year).
I'm primarily a Linux/Unix-like application developer, not a Windows developer. I'm also not rich; so I can't justify the expense of going through the process when there are not many users of the application at present.
