Feature Request: IR communication

I tried doing Card Pop! and trading in Pokemon TCG with a real GBC + Cartridge x Analogue Pocket running the core, but infrared comm seemed to not work.
Unfortunately the game does not support link cable for that.
Would be a nice functionality to have, even if very specific. So consider it very low priority.

Just ran into this myself trying to use Mystery Gift on Pokémon Crystal.

I had to use 2 EZ-Flash Jr. flash carts, looks like Analogue's first party "core" works. But I couldn't get it working with this core.

Also adding that this would be nice for compatibility with the Pokemon Pikachu 2 GS gifting
