Navigation buttons stuck on screen

• I have searched for existing issues, this is not a duplicate.

Unmodded Twitch

• I have checked and this issue only occurs using bttv-android and not with the unmodded Twitch App

What happened?

If the screen is turned off while a stream is playing the navigation buttons become permanently stuck on the screen and the only way to fix it is to restart the app

Can't pinpoint exactly when it happenels but sometimes, when I return to bttv from the home screen or switching from another app via Taskmanager or via notifications, I end up not being able to return to the tablet homescreen (swipe up from Bottom) or to rask manager(hold swipe up). Same with back to home or back to last app, no feedback. Basically I'm stuck with the stream and can't leave or interact with bttv menu or anything. Only the notification bar will slide down from the top but still the notifications won't open their apps. I can't switch close access any apps. Only solution is reboot tablet in these cases.
