--without-gm, --without-load-balancing, --without-mx, --disable-peruse, --disable-sampling, --without-bfd, --without-liberty, --without-mpi, --without-papi, --without-libunwind, --without-dyninst, --without-mrnet are not recognized
also --disable-venus and --disable-static-boost are not respected and they enables the features

I suspect the whole m4/macros.m4 file isn't used at all
