Thanks for the styles, I have been looking for a working dark style for a long time. I have replaced the style.conf in “...\zim\config\zim\” with yours. The colors for the fonts are also applied, but the background remains light. What is the reason for this?

Best regards
Michael

Hi, you might need to activate the option Edit > Preferences > Prefer dark mode

That said, I highly recommend using the updated styles that I submitted as a pull request to Zim, which is not yet merged into the main branch:

https://github.com/zim-desktop-wiki/zim-desktop-wiki/blob/0e2972e669e39f636e7856acc189d537b20bf81e/data/style.conf

They are a much improved version of the zim-styles in this repository (in terms of contrast and readability).

Unfortunately, I do not have this menu item.
I use ZIM-Desktop under Windows, as a Python application via MSYS64. The version is 0.75.1. What could be the reason?

Ah, yes. Your version does not have this feature yet. The new version 0.76.0 has just been released and should be available for Windows soon.
