Inherit or Add Area to sensor setup

Having migrated all of my sensors to UI, I noticed the Area of the source entity is not inherited by the Powercalc entities. Would be nice if that happened.

Secondly, there is no Area option in the config flow.

So, we need to create the sensors first, and then, in the HA ui, need to add the Area to the entities afterwards.

Please consider adding this to the config flow, and see if inheriting the source entity Area can be implemented?

Thanks for reporting. Surprised that this is not working in the config flow, but is in the YAML flow, as the underlying code for sensor creation is shared between the two methodologies.

Did a quick test but it's working fine for me.
Could you check if the entities are correctly added to the same device as your source entity?

Only on some, it made me check and report here tbh...

Maybe the Not ok 's are the new Config flow entities, and the Ok's are the ones I had in Yaml before.

Must check.

In any case, many are Not ok. I added the Area manually per entity....

Improved the binding to device which should fix your issue. Will be fixed with #998
