Signify LTG005

didnt check specifics yet, but seems an alias for identical existing spots LTG002?.

having several of these installed, I noticed the group was not created with:

            - create_group: Overkapping achterdeur
              unique_id: powercalc_group_overkapping_achterdeur
              include:
                wildcard: light.achterdeur_spot_*

so checked the library and found it isnt listed yet ;-)

I have checked the library and there are two white ambiance GU10 spots in the DB.

LTW013 power characteristics are different, max power higher than advertised for LTG005.

LTG002 power is close to advertised for LTG005. Max power rating 4.2W, which is also similar, and standby power 0.25.

Do you have any options to do the measurements for LTG005? Otherwise I'm tempted to add it as an alias, but best would be to have the actual measurements.

I've checked https://github.com/bramstroker/homeassistant-powercalc/blob/master/utils/measure/README.md but havent yet done that.

I can see why you would prefer that measurement over the alias, though my schedule currently doesnt allow me to go over that. I am a bit caught up with real life home building process.... virtual home building is limited to discussion here ;-)

If I can find a moment Ill try to fire up a Docker and see if I can manage, can't promise though

cant I fake the LTG002 for the time being? in that create_group config I mean?

Apologies for abusing the topic, but I wanted to go into the alias vs new measurement a bit further.
When are aliases allowed / preferred?
How can I determine that a lamp is similar enough to add it as an alias?

The use case I encountered were Centrist spots. The Centrist 2, Centrist 3 and Centrist 4 have (what looks like) the same spots but with different numbers/Ids.

I see those centris lights also have a downlight.
Downlight is bigger for centris 3 compared to centris 2
Are all spots and downlight controlled separately or only as one light in HA?

I see we have Centris 3 and 4 in the library: https://library.powercalc.nl/
These are for the complete light fixture and measured separately.
So it makes sense to also measure Centris 2 separately as the power consumption seems all the spots and downlight combined.

Do you have any possibilities to measure Centris 2?

The Centris lights and spots are all individually controlled and measured. The light bar is definitely different, but the spots all appear to be the same.
