You are using the following option right? sensor:
- platform: powercalc
create_group: Outdoor
include:
area: outdoor Currently, that will only scan your Home Assistant installation for entities which powercalc can create virtual power sensors for. You should be able to add extra entities like this: sensor:
- platform: powercalc
create_group: Outdoor
include:
area: outdoor
entities:
- entity_id: sensor.dummy
power_sensor_id: sensor.existing_power entity_id is still needed because it is mandatory. I will change this in the future. You can set that to The error you are getting is strange. You should not get this error when you are using the include option. |

This might be a dumb question but is it possible to group all the power sensors in an area together? Even those that come from a device that reports power consumption?
