May I Fork and Host separately?

Seeing as this project seems to have been inactive since January 2023, I forked this project thinking I could host the code with some fixes I made on my own GitHub. But then I realized there was no license file included in the source code. I figure I could ask, and if you'd rather I not host it on my GitHub, I could make a pull request instead.
