I'll be straight to the point, despite this break the wanted format. Sorry.

  1. Having this many repos hurt the maintenance. Makes things more complex.
  2. we need a wiki to store informations we gather around time. Might be useful some day, as shown by recent irc exchanges.
  3. we need a rather reliable forum, and freegamedev is not. It's even archived now.

Duplicate of #268, which already discusses most of this in depth. I suggested GitHub's discussions feature as a replacement for FreeGameDev.
