I'd like to put the samples of a multisample into a folder, to deduplicate the samples using hard- or soft-links.
A multisample can be packed into a single file using the ZIP container format. The mapping information is stored in the multisample.xml file in the root folder of the archive.
Filename extension: .multisample
Alternatively, a file system folder can be used, following the same naming convention.
The last paragraph says that it is possible. So I understood that bitwig should recognize a folder containing multisample.xml + the samples. Or another way to say it: It should recognize the unzipped multisample. I wasn't able to get this working. I this feature not implemented?
