mailbox.org returns 412 when trying to connect to webdav

I tried connecting to the mailbox.org cloud/drive using davx5 but i keep getting a 412 response, eventhough mailbox is listed as tested on your website. Is the website not up to date?

mailbox.org should work (we have many users who are using it with DAVx5). Which URL did you use? Maybe this is a temporary problem? Can you provide exact steps to reproduce?

https://dav.mailbox.org/servlet/webdav.infostore/ as mentioned here but also every other URL mentioned on the mailbox website

1. Open DAVx5 app
2. Open Hamburger menu
3. Tools -> WebDAV mounts
4. (+) icon
5. Enter WebDAV URL (any of the ones mentioned on the websites from above)
6. Username is full main E-Mail
7. Password is main password
8. Add mount
9. Error 412

I'm using GrapheneOS and the same process works fine for nextcloud

Thanks. I have just tried with our test account and it works without problems… maybe something account-specific (like 2FA)?

Does it work with other WebDAV clients (like your desktop file manager, most of them speak WebDAV)?

Yes it was something specific to my account, kind of embarrasing, thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
For anyone else stumbling upon this: the old mail plan is equivalent to the new light plan and considering that this functionality is not available as stated here
