This is our roadmap of waypoints, to be refined over time.

Target Date: 14.5 weeks leading up to 1.0 blockchain launch on 2016-07-01

MVP Goals

• Incorporate new Proof-of-Work
• Implement spec security fixes
• Secure SNARK parameters
• External security audit of protocol/crypto
• External security audit of implementation

Schedule

• By Friday March 18th: parameter setup dry-run meeting.
• Friday March 11: feature selection freeze (no additions to planned features after this)
• Monday April 11: feature implementation deadline (feature implementations landed but may have bugs)
• Friday May 13: security freeze (nothing but security fixes after this)
• before Wednesday June 1: public parameters available
• Monday June 6: signed binaries distributed
• Friday July 1: reward starts

Not blockers for launch but highly desired:

• Reproducible builds
• Bitcoin-QT-based wallet
