Stuck in 'waiting for buyer's fiat payment' screen, when the buyer actually made the payment and marked the same in bisq app #2927

  1. I made a sell btc offer and someone took it.
  2. He made the fiat payment and I received fiat from his end.
  3. He marked the same in the app. For me, It's shown in the chat window. But in the trade section, it's still showing 'Waiting for Buyer's fiat payment'.

We both tried few restarts on both our sides. Didn't help.

Here is the log file. Payment from the peer happened around Oct 10 10:45am

Similar issue on a different scenario.

Here buyer marked as 'bitcoin received'. Same is updated to me the chat section, but not in the main trade area.

This same thing just happened to me, twice! Not just the buyer's "Payment Sent", but chat messages from the buyer and even from the moderator! It seems like the real problem is offline messages are getting lost and not delivered; that used to work but seems like not always anymore.

This is really bad, the foundation of Bisq2 right now is Bisq Easy based on reputation and outright trust between strangers. For a person to appear non-responsive due to lost messages gives a very bad impression to new users. Now that I think I know the issue, I'm forced to keep Bisq2 running all the time if I have any active trades. Really wish you could figure out why this is happening so we can enjoy the promise of offline messaging that Bisq2 is supposed to provide!
