  • Learn how entity concepts are represented in words and sub-concepts
  • e.g. XYZ Inhibitor, XYZ Monoclonal Antibody, XYZ Humanized Monoclonal Antibody
  • Learn from ontologies:
    • Parent/child relationships; or more aptly, general vs specific concepts
    • Compositions: e.g. guess valid XYZs for "Monoclonal Antibodies" via masking and time-wise cross validation (e.g. ontology from 2020 vs 2023)
  • Learn via grounding
    • molecular and chemical fingerprinting
    • Causal models of biological processes
