Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
To rename a tab, I have to click into the tabs name with my mouse which is always (perceived) miles away. Keystrokes would be faster.

Describe the solution you'd like
Open a new tab with "ctrl + shift + t" and then just rename it by pressing "ctrl + shift + r" (r as renaming, for example)
