Fix the UI issue in the highlight feature which occasionally sets the background color of the text to white instead of the highlighted color.

I had a call with Gaagul to discuss this. The background was set as white on purpose when texts are pasted using normal past method (cmd+v) to prevent readability issues when texts from dark background is pasted. Using special paste (cmd+shift+v) would solve this. Hence closing the issue @AbhayVAshokan .
