Hi BIDS team,

We are manually annotating imaging datasets and a given dataset could have multiple annotators. How would you suggest that we name these different annotation files that have the same underlying imaging dataset? We are currently planning on using the desc-<label> entity where <label> would be replaced with the annotator's initials. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

What does it mean to annotate a dataset?

Hi @effigies, we are drawing masks by 'painting' voxels on a 3d volume to delineate region of interests (i.e. axonal pathways).

desc-<label> appears to be the best choice of the current crop of entities. That seems fine to me.
