The 'Cheetah Driver Integrated V4 connector' schematic has YCAP1, YCAP2, YCAP3 listed as 'Do not place', whilst 'Cheetah Driver Integrated V4' has them listed as 100nF, but they do not appear in Parts_no_connector.xlsx

Are these caps required?

It also looks like the MA700 encoder is a discontinued part now. Is there a drop in replacement, or will changes be required?

Edit: Looks like the MA702GQ-Z is a drop in replacement!

Yep, I use the MA702 now.

As far as the y-caps: whether they're needed or not depends on how your drive is mounted. I found YCAP1 to be necessary when mounting the drives directly to large metal structures with multiple motors. If the drives are mounted to plastic I haven't needed them. I believe this is due to capacitive coupling between the motor and the logic ground planes on the board when both the drive and motor are mounted to the same piece of metal.

Thanks,

I don't suppose there are drop in replacements for the DRV8323 or the mosfets? Both are rather difficult to source the moment.

Even the LDO is impossible to find at the moment!
