Can you clarify this for me?

  1. I have MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016). 2,6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
  2. I also have running Ubuntu on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Arm-based Ampere A1 4 cores and 24 GB of memory)

Can I use these machines? What is a better choice?

yes, because of Intel OpenVINO.
in your case, MacBook is ok, but Arm infra is not.
you better to visit the official web site of Intel OpenVINO once before installation.
