Question: is it possible to add [File > Import > Vector File] to ScribusGenerator?
The issue with scribus is that if you use an Image frame for an vector file (like svg), the quality sucks (clearly). So, to get the best quality I like to import the right vector file at the right place.

I guess it should work if scribus keeps the link to the file and does not
include its content completely in the working document. What format are you
importing?
I'll check it out and let you know.
That being said I included many svg dynamically (with the generator) in my
SLAs and never encountered quality issues... did that change in late v1.5?

I've encountered these issues too. When importing vector PDF's within an Image Frame they get rasterized in a poor quality. Some kind of SVG 'linking' or 'Vector Frame' with the linked file would be very nice to have.
Currently only SVG Import is supported; but it's embedding the file instead of linking.
