I have no issues whatsoever running MQTTSubscribe as the driver but a new version is out with a lot of configuration changes and config depreciations. So the question is - is it worth to upgrade from 1.6.2 to 2.0.0? |

If everything is working, you don’t have to upgrade. Just remember that any fixes will only be applied to 2.x. So, you might want to upgrade when it is convenient/you have time. While the 1.6.2 weewx.conf may not work with 2.x, the 2.x weewx.conf should be fully compatible with 1.6.2. So, you should be able to update your weewx.conf and then upgrade to 2.x. Also at startup of 1.6.2, any options that are not valid in 2.x should be logged. Lastly, if you post you configuration (removing any sensitive information) I’d be happy to help ensure it is 2.x compatible. rich |
