right now the flexible SFHs are piecewise constant; it might be good to also have something that is piecewise linear, with fixed or flexible timepoints and then free SFRs at those timepoints. The SFRs could use similar continuity priors as the step-function basis. All that is required is to translate such an SFH into the tabular format, in analogy with the FastStepBasis object.
