Currently, values in parsed configuration files are forced to be latin1. Would be nice to allow UTF-8, perhaps with optional constraints applied at a different layer of abstraction for filesystem safety or whatnot.

👍 , Will be good for Japanese operators, as we usually write comments in Japanese.
