Layout Paragraphs #147
Comments
If I'm correct. Aten Design is the primary driver behind layout_paragraphs in Drupal 9 and also a contributor to Backdrop CMS. Maybe you should talk to them and see if they might be interested. I have been hearing quite a bit about layout_paragraphs for Drupal 9 lately, but maybe because I've been listening to content put out by Aten. ;-) https://atendesigngroup.com/articles/expressive-authoring-layout-paragraphs |
If only someone working on this module also worked at Aten... 😉 |
What is current status for this project? We are investigating options for one of our new projects and it would be great to figure out what it would take to get it similar to this state https://www.drupal.org/project/layout_paragraphs . @laryn, do you have any insights? |
This ticket is purely theoretical and info gathering at the moment. |
Other places where shared non-page layout components could be valuable: |
This is a concept I'd love to hear further input from others on.
Right now a multi-value Paragraphs field uses table drag to make a re-orderable list of fields that can be dragged up and down. I am interested in how/whether it could be achieved to turn this into a mini-layout, perhaps incorporating elements of the flexible layout functionality that is in core. This would allow people to build more complex layouts and place the fields that are permitted on the Paragraph into rows/columns which would then be rendered in the spot in the main layout where that Paragraphs field was placed.
